What a busy but fun weekend! We had our first Christmas celebration. My parents are heading out-of-town to Halifax for the holiday season so we celebrated with them this weekend. It was nice and quiet, very low key.
Mom always has the house decorated so nicely and this year the Christmas crackers had pieces to create a xylophone which was quite entertaining. We actually still have it sitting on the island in our kitchen, the kids have been enjoying playing Christmas carols on it!
This weekend I also tried my hand at a paint night – so fun! If you haven’t tried it – I highly recommend it.
Now on to why you really visit my blog – paper crafting inspiration! These are the projects we created in December stamp classes. I love the square pillow box die and am so sad to see that it isn’t carrying over so I had to use it in class this month.
The idea for the box and one of the cards came from Allison Okamitsu. The note cards and envelopes fit perfectly inside the pillow box with one end cut off! Aren’t they adorable and a great gift idea for teacher’s, bus drivers, neighbors or coworkers.
If you are interested in attending the next stamp class, it will be Jan. 13th at 7pm or Jan. 14th at 9:30am or 7pm. Cost is $15 or free with a minimum order. Hope to see you in class!
I’m off to play with my box of new goodies… although I should be planning my upcoming scrapbook club!
Have a creative day!
Sherry
