Welcome back for another one card layout – 3 ways post! This week the inspiration comes from a swap that I received last year and is a bit of a fun fold.
If you missed the previous two rounds of one card layout 3 ways, you can find them here and here.
The card shown above was the inspiration card for todays projects. The products (Elegantly Said bundle and Simply Elegant DSP) used to create this card are no longer available.
Wishing You Card
I was inspired by the fold and strips of dsp. So I kept those but rotated the card so it was landscape and created a pocket instead of a card that opens up the usual way.
Measurements:
- Cajun Craze: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 1″ and 4-1/4″
- Basic White: 3-3/4″ x 5″ and scraps for stamping
- Petal Pink: 4″ x 5-1/4″
- Mossy Meadow: scraps for die cutting vines
- Silver & Gold DSP: 3″ x 5-1/4″
- Leaf Tag: x1
- Amber Gems: x3
- Linen Thread: enough to wrap around twice
I shared how to create this card in this weeks Facebook live. You can catch the replay here. I also share an additional card in the video that I haven’t posted here.
Amazing Mountain Retreat TN Layout
This week I wanted to share that card layouts don’t need to just inspire other cards. They can also inspire scrapbook layouts! Here’s a look at the layout that was inspired by this weeks card. I repeated the strips of dsp with the cardstock in between. The greeting block was replaced with a photo with journaling tags tucked in behind.
It’s so fun to look at projects with a different eye. I’ve really enjoyed this series. But we still have one more week. I’ll be back next Friday with the last of the one card 3 ways post.
Until next time,
