Today I’ve got a fun North Pole Sack mini album to share with you. What a fun way to share some of your favourite holiday memories from this holiday season or from past holiday seasons.
However, before I get into the mini album, I’d like to share with you a few projects things I’ve done using the From the North Pole and Ho Ho Ho Paper Pumpkin kits.
This months Paper Pumpkin kit makes the cutest shimmery holiday tags. You get enough supplies to create 4 each of these three designs. A refill kit is now available if you are a current subscriber and would like to make more. There is also an add on for this months kit – the North Pole Sacks. I tucked in some treats, added a bit of tissue and created these little treat bags.
The last project I’d like to share with you before we get into the project for today is how I decorated last months Paper Pumpkin box so that I can use it as gift packaging for the holidays.
On to the mini album…
To create the album base I used 4 of the North Pole Sacks and created an accordion spine. The accordion piece measures 3″ x 4″ and is scored every 1/2″ along the 3″ length. This part allows the pages to flip. Then I added a spine to hold it all together and finish it off. This piece measure 2-3/8″ x 4″ and is scored 1″ from either end of the 2-3/8″ length. I recreated a project similar to this one in this video if you’d like to see how it comes together.
I tucked a tag into each of the pockets, each one decorated a bit differently. The tags measure 3-3/4″ x 5-1/2″.
The photo mats all measure 2-1/8″ x 3-1/8″ – the perfect size for 2″ x 3″ photos.
This tag is a pocket and the photo mats are just tucked in, not stuck down.
My goal was to use up as much of the supplies I had left from both Paper Pumpkin kits. I’m happy to say that between this one and the one I created in this video, that I used up all but a few pieces.
Until next time,
