I don’t know if you’ve noticed but for the last few weeks I’ve been posting memory keeping themed projects. Mostly scrapbook layouts or projects created using Stampin’ Up!’s Project Life line. So I’ve decided to make this a more permanent part of my blog, in hopes that it will hold me accountable to completing some of the albums I have on the go. So from now on, you will see a memory keeping themed project each Monday. It may not always be a layout, but it will be somehow related to documenting our lives.
Today’s layout was one I did for scrapbook club last month. The photos are back from 1999! But it’s another page done for my daughter’s album. One of the things I love about this layout, apart from the adorable patterned paper – is the border created using a combination of words and stamped images.
I used some of the words from the Crazy About You stamp set to create a couple little sayings and stamped them across the page, leaving a bit of space in between for a little flower. So simple but it really adds to the page!
I’m so excited this weekend is our weekend retreat! I can’t wait to get a huge chunk of projects done and maybe even catch up on my 2015 album! Lofty goals but I’m confident;) I’m off to prep for the classes I’m offering…
Have a creative day!
Sherry
