I love to combine Project Life layouts with traditional layouts, it’s become one of my favorite ways to memory keep. You get the best of both worlds! This is a layout I did last month at scrapbook club which uses the Seasonal Snapshot 2015 Project Life card collection, accessory pack and coordinating stamp set. Did you know that if you purchase all 3 products in the collection you can save 15%?!
These photos were taken by Allison Smith Photography back in 2008. Whenever my brother and his family are in town, we try to get family photos done because we are all together so rarely.
For the traditional layout, I added a piece of kraft cardstock, some ribbon a bit of stamping (using the coordinating stamp set), a title cut from my Silhouette and a few embellishments from the accessory pack. Simple but cute!
One of the things I’ve started doing if I have a large collection of photos is to slide them all into pockets at the same time, whether I have time to finish them off or not. I will also slide cards in if they work well with the layout. Then it’s all ready to go for when I have a few minutes to do a little decorating or journaling. It saves time in the long run, I really encourage you to give it a try!
Have a creative day!
