Today I’m sharing a masking with embossing folders technique. This is fun technique where you emboss a piece of masking paper and then alter it a bit to create a mask for an embossed image.
I’m not going to go into all the details of how to do this technique in the blog post because it’s easier to understand if you see it. I’ve attached a video below that walks you through creating this card. Who knows it may even get you looking at your embossing folders in a different light!
Here’s another card I created using this same folder from the Charming Landscapes embossing folder package. For this card I embossed a piece of silver foil and then cut out the mountains. The background is a piece of retired dsp with a bit of ink blending.
