Today I’m sharing a fun layout created using the Make a Memory Scrapbooking Kit. This is a new kit from Stampin’ Up!® that I’m SO excited about! This kit is full of supplies that you can use to create LOTS of layouts for ANY photos. I’ve been wanting SU! to come out with something like this for years.
Here’s a look at what’s included.
This is actually the kit that we’ll be working with for July’s scrapbook class. You can find all the details here.
For this layout I told the story of our search for a restaurant that Marcel & I and friends went to the last time we were in Mykonos. We didn’t find the restaurant but we did end up with a really good story.
Most of the supplies that I used to create this layout were from the kit but I did add in a few things to create my title and to add a bit of journaling and extra detail. Here’s what I added:
- White Willow 12×12 and Secret Sea and Basic Black card stock
- Party Alphabet Dies
- Just a Note Dies (available in July)
- Darling Duckling ribbon and white twine
- Secret Sea ink
- Month by Month stamp set and alphabet set
- 3×3 Flip Flap
- Petal Pink gems
My story was a bit too long for the little journal spot I had cut (the notebook paper) so I chose to divide it up into three areas to make sure it all fit.
I absolutely love how this all came together. It was the perfect way to document the story. I created the first layout in today’s live. You can catch the replay below.
Until next time,
