Welcome to another week of Memory Keeping Monday. I just love how today’s layout turned out and it was amazingly simple! The animal expedition dsp does all the work. It’s just so cute, you really don’t need much else. The images in the patterned paper are perfect for fussy cutting and adding to layouts or cards as accents.
To create the triangles I cut 4″ x 6″ pieces of the dsp and then measured the 2″ mark on one of the 4″ ends and cut from one corner to the 2″ mark (centre) and did the same from the other corner. The little animal images are all cut from one of the patterned pieces.
I wanted to mimic the stitched stars on the quilt in the photo so I punched out a star and then used my paper piercing tool to poke holes around it. I love the little detail it adds to the top half of the layout.
I’m super excited about a new class that will be added to my class rotation – it’s a Layout of the Month class. Each month I’ll choose a grouping of products that will be included in the class and we’ll create 4 layouts using these products. May’s Layout of the Month class is focused around the Animal Expedition DSP! Here are the details…
