This layout may seem a little strange because of the two volleyball photos at the top but let me give you a bit of background on how I use Project Life. I document on a monthly basis, not weekly. Sometimes I end up with just a couple pages in a month, sometimes dozens. It really just depends on what we have going on. I don’t worry too much about taking photos every day – if I remember great if not, that’s ok. I don’t want this to become a chore, I want to continue documenting our lives in a realistic way.
So this particular page is the last page for March. Jordyn went away with a girlfriend and her family to Mexico for spring break. I wanted a few photos to remind us of that in our family album so they got tacked onto the end of the month. The volleyball photos were taken the weekend before she left. I do have more of her Mexico photos documented with PL for her album, which I will share another day.
The cards for this layout are all from the Let’s Get Away card collection which I love!
The camera was on one of the cards and I just cut it out. There are so many cute little photos and sayings on the cards it’s fun to cut them up and use them as accents rather than on their own.
Before I go I wanted to share with you my gift for May.
For every $50 you purchase online between May 1st and 31st, I will send you the consumable kit to complete these two cards. Kit will include all the pre-cut, punched cardstock and instructions, you just add stamps and ink. Don’t forget the Stampin’ Up! retiring list with items up to 50% off while supplies last!
Have a creative day!
Sherry
