For this weeks memory keeping Monday layout I’m sharing this fun Just a Girl & Her Dog layout I created last week over in my membership group.
During the month of September I shared lots of ideas focused around the amazing Paper Florist dies. For this layout, I challenged myself to use some of the leftover flowers and bits & pieces from my stash (dragonflies, vellum heart & polished dots).
I love all the details that went into creating the background for this layout. It started with the packaging technique, which is still one of my favourite techniques. Then I added some stamping – the vintage looking words from the Gorgeously Made stamp set and the splatter from Nature’s Prints. Lastly I added some nice big splatters using my water painter and misty moonlight ink. All those layers of ink make me happy!
I had a couple of the petal patterns die cut pieces on my desk so I added those to the background, then added my photos. The fun was embellishing the layout. Love how it all turned out.
I’m looking forward to working with the Winter Meadow suite for the month of October over in The Treasure Chest. If you love that suite and are looking for inspiration, we’d love for you to come join us!
Until next time,

In addition to the supplies listed below, I used some retired Polished Dots; a die cut vellum heart and some laser cut dragonflies from my stash and the Willow Lower alphabet set from Kerri Bradford.
