Do you ever give yourself challenges? I’m always giving myself little challenges when it comes to crafting. My most recent one has to do with the It’s My Party DSP. This is a paper STACK which means that you get 48 sheets (4 each of 12 double sided designs) of 12×12 patterned paper. So I’ve taken out 1 sheet of each pattern and have challenged myself to use it all. So far, I’ve made 15 birthday cards, 1 envelope and have decorated every envelope and I still have lots left to use! I still plan on creating a few 12×12 layouts, some PL spreads and a few more cards. With that challenge in mind, you can guarantee that you’ll be seeing lots of projects posted using this paper pack:)
Today’s card is simple… I combined the It’s My Party DSP, the Party Wishes stamp set and the Party Pop Up Thinlits to create it. Here’s a look at the inside.
These party pop-up thinlits add such a fun surprise to the inside of a card and they are so easy to use! Instead of just leaving it white, I used mint macaron and crushed curry markers to color in the words and candles and then added a couple strips of washi down the sides. So fun!
So my challenge to you is to pick a hand full of patterned papers that work well together and use them up! Decorate envelopes, create lots of cards and or layouts, boxes, bags, tags etc. The options are endless. I’d love to see what you create!
Have a creative day!
