This is the hybrid version of the My Digital studio layout I did the other day – posted here. The picture isn’t great – I really need to figure out how to best photograph my layouts. By trimming the page and adding it to a piece of old olive cardstock, adding some chocolate ribbon along the bottom and then the brads beside the title and journaling – it adds a bit more color and takes away some of the white space. I’m happy with the way it turned out.
This is the 12×12 layout that I created based on the same sketch. I used the negative space from the Big Shot snowflake die to sponge a subtle background on my white cardstock.
The ‘boyz’ was cut using the big shot from our medium weight sheet protectors. To make them pop just a bit, I stamped on them using white staz on ink.
