The other day I received an email from one of my team members Tracey Frith with a photo of the card she made for her brother. I laughed out loud – it’s pretty cute. She created an outhouse using the Hardwood Background in the Celebrate the Everyday brochure. And check out the little star window – love it!
Here’s a peek at the inside. What a great way to use this background stamp! I love that she shared this – to be honest – an outhouse would NEVER have crossed my mind but I’m sure we all know someone who would get a kick out of a card like this:) Thanks so much for sharing Tracey!
Have a creative day!

So cute and funny totally making this for my brothers. I love how she detailed the wood on the inside. It's a must try.

What did you use for the hinges and door closure? Very cute card!

The hardware was from an old Stampin' Up! Accessory pack called hodgepodge hardware. Unfortunately it's not something we carry anymore. I wonder if you could find some little pieces at the hardware store that might work? Or Tim Holtz may have some hardware that would work. Let me know if you have any luck!

Could you use the hinges from the Barn Door stamp set?
Sherry Roth says

Love the subtle pun of the sentiment "wish big." Sears & Roebucks catalogs often provided the required paper and reading material in many outhouses.
