I love planning themed parties. It’s so fun to find creative ways to make an event just a little more fun! Every year I hold a hostess appreciation event, exclusive to anyone who was either a club member or hosted a private party or workshop through me that year. This years theme was a Mexican Fiesta and it was so fun! We had a photobooth with cute props, a pinata filled with Stampin’ Up! products, Mexican snacks, door prizes and of course some cute projects!
I created this colorful backdrop for the photo booth. It took forever to make but turned out incredible! These are just a few of the ladies who took advantage of the booth – Darlene and Carol! Love it!
Snacks were individual 7-layer dips and a lime margarita (sans alcohol) punch. I didn’t get any great photos of the pinata because we were in the garage due to miserable weather! But it was fun.
This was one of the door prizes. I used the Birthday Fiesta bundle to create 4 note cards, decorated a notepad and an old Project Life box. Everything tucked inside to make a cute package.
And of course we had a few cute projects to make – all using the Birthday Fiesta bundle. This was the first one.
This was another one. I love this one. I saw this idea on Pinterest – the guitar and the hat were cut from one of the patterned papers! Such a creative way to use the dsp! And those googly eyes – LOVE!! The last card I will share with you on Friday along with a video to show you how I created it. Be sure to stop by and check it out.
If you’d like to participate in the next hostess appreciation exclusive event, now’s the time to join a club or to book a private party or workshop. Contact me today to find out more.
Have a creative day!
