I’ve really gotten back into the groove of scrapbooking again and I’m loving it! This was one of the layouts I created for the heritage layout class I held at the beginning of May. I love using bits of lace and doilies on heritage pages. And the timeless elegance dsp is PERFECT for these older photos.
I have an Iris container full of odds and ends that I’ve picked up over the years that I pull out when I do heritage pages. I found these large doilies, which I think I picked up at a local craft store a few years ago, and finally put them to use. As well as a couple different styles of ribbon/lace that I had. The photo just doesn’t do this layout justice – it’s so pretty in person!
The photo is of my dad and his parents. I have to find out what year it was so I can add that to the label and then it will be ready to add to his family album.
And well butterflies work for anything right?! And this watercolor wings butterfly set is so pretty, it was the perfect addition!
Have a creative day!
Sherry
