Now that my kids are older, I don’t do a lot of Halloween projects. However, every year I do make up a Halloween themed project to put into my customers bags as a little thank you when they order from me and my October retreat always has one Halloween themed pillow gift. So I still get to create a couple projects that are somewhat spooky.
When I saw the takeout thinlits, I knew that would be what I use for my thank you gifts for September orders. It is ADORABLE. It’s just a tiny little box – perfect for a single Lindt chocolate. Wouldn’t these be adorable to leave on a coworkers desk as a special little treat? Or maybe used as a Thanksgiving dinner place setting? And they’d be so easy to convert for any occasion! Valentine’s Day, Christmas, St. Patrick’s Day – anything really.
We are planning a Christmas party for my husbands coworkers and I plan on making these up for everyone who attends but using the adorable elves from the Santa’s Workshop stamp set on the front. How cute will those be?!
Here’s another Takeout Box idea. This was one of the projects we make at our monthly stamp class. The photo isn’t the best but we embossed the little tile image from the Country Home stamp set with silver on the galvanized cardstock and it looks so pretty!
I do recommend tear and tape when you adhere these little boxes because even Fast Fuse didn’t hold up well. You can see the seam coming apart in this photo.
Thanks so much for stopping by, have a creative day!
