For this weeks memory keeping Monday post I’m sharing a peek at my good life 6×8 album. I really wanted to create an album with a bit more of a rustic, vintage flair to it. However, I didn’t want to put too much time into planning so I decided I would copy the layouts I created for this mini album class to go.
Here’s a peek at what I’ve done so far.
It kind of has a beach vibe to it. So it still could be used as a travel album. Here’s a look at the cover for the one I’m doing for the travel themed mini album class to go.
You can see that I kept the layout the same, I just used different product. That’s one of the great things about tutorials – you can make your own interpretation with my ideas as inspiration. There’s no need to recreate your project exactly as I’ve done. Use what you have on hand and make it work for you!
And here’s a look at the first page. I chose to leave the title off of this one since I’m not sure exactly how I plan on using the album. I love the Textured Notes bundle! It’s perfect for stamping detail to your projects.
The inside cover, has a little pocket for ephemera, extra supplies or photos.
And here’s what the inside the travel album.
I plan on continuing on and using products from the Botanical Textures suite for my rustic album but also might include some other product along the way.
There’s still time to participate in the travel mini album class to go. Or the tutorial is available to purchase here.
Until next time,
