Frozen Edges Card Ideas

Today I’m sharing 3 beautiful frozen edges card ideas. These cards have a beautiful wintery feel to them and can be used for any occasion. I’ve turned most of mine into Christmas cards but they’d make a great wedding card or birthday cards too!

Let’s take a look at the cards…

The first two cards are pretty simple cards but I love the added touches of sparkle with the ribbon, glimmer paper and faceted gems.

Measurements:

• Balmy Blue: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″ ; 3″ x 5″
• Basic White: 4″ x 5-1/4″ (inside); 2″ x 3″ for die cutting label shape
• White Glimmer: 1-1/2″ x 4″ for die cutting snowflakes
• Ribbon: 3″
• White Twine: 8″
• Gems: x4

Measurements:

• Thick Basic White: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
• Basic White: 3-3/4″ x 5″; 1-1/2″ x 4″ for die cutting snowflakes; 2″ x 3″ for die cutting label shape
• Ribbon: 6″
• White Twine: 14″
• Gems: x3

The third card is just a bit more elaborate because we are adding a bit of ink blending to our  card.

Measurements:

• Thick Basic White: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
• Basic White: 2″ x 5-1/2″ for die cutting the snowflake border; 2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ for die cutting circle; 3-1/4″ x 4-1/2″
• Fresh Freesia: 3-3/8″ x 4-5/8″
• Ribbon: 7″
• Gems: x3
