Good morning! I have a technique card to share with you today. It’s called the Bokeh technique.
- Sponge a piece of white cardstock with night of navy ink so that it’s quite dark
- Use our chalk ink (in all three colors) to add a variety of circles. Note you want to do one color at a time and let them dry in between. I created a template for the circles from a scrap piece of cardstock and a variety of sized circle punches.
- Once those were dry, I added some circles using whisper white ink.
I love this technique – it creates such a nice background. For the focal point, I added a few feathers stamped with the Four Feather’s stamp set that was in the holiday catalogue but carried over. Added some bermuda sequins and some white bakers twine and voila!
Have a creative day!
