A little overdue but better late than never:) I thought I’d do a Founders Circle recap. First of all I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you all – my customers, friends, family and team members. I could never have achieved this fabulous award without your help – THANK YOU. It was an amazing trip – Stampin’ Up! really does go all out for Founders achievers!
I have lots of photos and don’t want to bore you so I’ll just share a few that highlight the trip. I shared a few more on the Stamped Treasures Facebook page while I was down there if you’d like to see more.
The theme for this years Founders was Home for the Holidays so Christmas and did they go all out with all the details!
The first night we were broken into teams – our team name was the Nutcrackers – and challenged to create a gingerbread house. Thankfully Wendy Cranford was on our team and creates at least two houses every year, because the rest of us had either never created a gingerbread house or only once or twice. I think it turned out quite nicely actually!
They had converted one of the rooms of the hotel – which was reserved just for us – into a gathering place. It had lots of big comfy couches, a candy bar, Christmas trees and lots of beautiful decor.
There was also a little display of ideas for the new stamp set and framelits we received as one of our pillow gifts.
I was amazed at all the little details… This gem was hanging on the daily schedule – isn’t it gorgeous! Each candy dish had a different tag on it – just beautiful!
The second night we had a pajama party and swap. It was amazing! Everyone lined the hallway of the hotel and just went down the line. Making those 113 cards was all worth it! The swaps are incredible.
I still have lots more to share, including my favorite part, but I’ll save that for tomorrow.
Have a creative day!
Sherry
