I just realized that I hadn’t shared the second layout I did for Octobers scrapbook club. You can click on the photo to get a closer look. The photos were taken when my brother and his family were here this summer. Since we don’t get to see each other very often, we always schedule family photos when they come to visit. This year we went to the legislative grounds.
It’s hard to tell from the photo but the flourish in the lower left corner of the black cardstock was stamped using champagne mist shimmer paint. Did you know that you can use the paint with a finger dauber right on your stamps. It gives a beautiful shimmery look.
I used one of my favourite dsp’s from the catalogue Timeless Portrait. I love the colour combination and the patterns. I plan on using lots of this dsp and coordinating fabric to decorate my stamp room in our new house. I’ve already started creating a few things with it.
Thanks for stopping by today!
