The Color Club #3

It’s time for the color club #3! Last month we played with Lemon Lolly and Lemon Lime Twist, this month we’ll be playing with Lost Lagoon and Copper Clay. I can’t wait to share the fun colour combinations I ‘ve come up with.

Let’s face it we all have our favourite colours and colour combinations we turn to. It can be hard to get used to new colours, especially ones that you may not immediately be drawn to. I know this is something that I struggle with at times. With Stampin’ Up!’s recent colour refresh and all the changes it brings, I thought that a fun club focused on colour would be a great way to familiarize ourselves with the new colours.

The colour refresh introduced 9 new colours (5 in colour and 4 core colours) and 7 returning colours. This is a LOT of change. So each month for 6 months, I will choose 1 or 2 colours that we will play with. We’ll combine those colours with other new colours, core colours and returning colours.

The third in person class will be on Friday July 7th at 1pm or 7pm MT. Can’t attend in person – get it to go. We’ll be using the Layering Leaves stamp set and coordinating Bough Punch at this class but you don’t need that particular product in order to participate. If you’ve got a different leaf set in your stash that will work!

Here’s what you can expect each month…

• Create 3 cards
• One of the cards will feature a fun background technique
• You’ll receive a sampling of products valued between $5 and $8 as part of your class fee (could be some dsp, ribbon,  embellishments or a combination of these)
• Pre-cut pieces to create all 3 cards
• Additional colour combination ideas

How can you participate?

• Cost is either a class fee of $35 (payable by etransfer or PayPal) + $5 shipping (if needed) or

NOTE: this club is not an in colour club. It is a club focused on different ways to combine colour and integrate the new colours with our current colours. Your purchase can be made up of any products you’d like.

The Details

• Deadline to register is June 20th, 2023
• After registering please send me a message with whether you’ll be attending in person – afternoon or evening, or if you’d like your kit to go.
• Anyone across Canada can participate in this class!
• To go kits will mail, or be available for pick up, within a day or two of in person class and will include the gift, kits and an emailed pdf with photos and links to the videos for each of the projects as well as any additional bonus content I shared.
• Note: $15 team option does not include the gift.
