At our Stamp Cafe event last weekend, I demonstrated how to make these adorable easel treat boxes. It’s amazing all that you can do with this one idea. I got the idea for the easel treat box from Janet Wakeland and then just ran with it. So many possibilities.
This first one holds 4 cards and uses the Lift Me Up bundle and the Cupcakes and Carousels dsp and embellishment kit – all from the 2017 Occasions Catalogue. Note: I share the cards in the video.
This messy haired chicken is bound to make anyone who isn’t feeling well, smile! It was the perfect image to use on the front of a little get well package. I included a cup of soup, a tissue pkg and some halls in this easel treat box. It uses our kraft cardstock, the Affectionately Yours specialty paper and the Hey, Chick SAB stamp set (only available until Mar. 31st).
I love how this one turned out. This is going to be part of my husbands father’s day gift. It’s the perfect little desk organizer which includes some 4×6 sticky notes and his favorite pen. I’ll tuck in a Tim Horton’s gift card and he’ll be set. To decorate this easel treat box, I used the Pun Intended hostess set and the urban underground dsp.
And this last one is my favourite! This is for my daughter for Easter (my son’s is in the works). I filled it with a bunch of planner goodies and some matching pens. The bunny was created using the following pieces:
- Head – layering hearts framelits
- Ears – the leaves from the flower fair framelits
- Muzzle – 1″ circle punch
- Eyes, nose and mouth – 1/2″ circle punch
I used a product called Action Wobble Springs to make the bunny’s head wobble. You can find them on Amazon and a few other places.
Be sure to watch the video to find out more information.
Have a creative day!
