It sure seems as though this has been the longest winter. And we still have a long way to go, it’s not even the middle of February! I don’t know if it’s because I’m getting older and just have no patience for the weather anymore or if it has in fact been a harsher, longer winter. Whatever the reason I’m ready for some warm weather and a beach!
Since neither of those is scheduled for the near future, I decided to stamp a beach scene. I used the beautiful new Waterfront stamp set that was inspired by million dollar sales achiever Connie Heisey. I love this stamp set, it’s a nice fresh stamp set. Something a little different from anything we’ve had before.
This card is a notecard size, a little smaller than a traditional sized card. It measures 5″ x 3-1/2″ when it’s folded. I felt it needed a little something behind the stamped vanilla piece so I looked through my scraps and found a piece of Naturally Eclectic dsp that worked perfectly.
It’s such a simple card, I’m looking forward to playing around with this set a little more. I’ve seen some amazing things done with it on Pinterest.
Have a creative day!
