- 12×12 album – I quickly ruled that one out. I know based on past holiday seasons I just don’t take enough photos to do a full 12×12 page each day and that it would be too much pressure for me to keep up with.
- 6×9 album – with pocket pages and a mix of traditional pages. I really contemplated this because I’ve see so many fun samples of this style of documenting lately. But I decided I’d try that format for a different themed album in the new year.
- Regular Travelers Notebook – I considered this option as well but then looked at my collection of Christmas papers and embellishments that I have left over from this years Holiday Catalogue and decided to go with…
- Junk Journal Travelers Notebook – well at least that’s what I call it.
I pulled out a bunch of supplies that coordinate. Note: they don’t have to coordinate but I like it when they do:) Here’s a photo of what I pulled out to begin with. I added some fabric after I took the photo.
When I do projects like this I don’t worry about what is current or retired of if it’s Stampin’ Up! product, I just pull out whatever suits my fancy. It feels so good to use stuff that I’ve had for years and have never found a use for. I love it!
So then I went to town and created my junk journal. I did a flip through video, you can find it here, or below if you are reading this my blog.
At the end of the video I mentioned that I had a few junk journals with the supplies to decorate. I still have a couple left, if anyone is interested. The cost is $35 Cdn + shipping (if needed). Contact me if you’d like one. Available while supplies last.
I will also be offering a class if you are in the Edmonton, Sherwood Park or surrounding areas – class will be on January 22nd at 7pm. Obviously it will not be Christmas themed:) More details to come mid month.
Have a creative day!
Sherry
