For this weeks memory keeping Monday post I’m sharing a Daisy Garden layout inspired by a card that I shared a couple weeks ago.
Have you ever created a card and then thought ‘this would be great on a scrapbook layout’? Every once in a while that happens to me. The last time was when I created this card during a Facebook live. So that’s where the inspiration for this layout came from.
I loved the idea of recreating the daisy strips as a border on a layout but then struggled a bit with the sizing and positioning of the photos. Two 3″ x 4″ photos and one 4″ x 4″ photo, positioned diagonally seemed to work best. I love how the photos just pop off the muted background and really are the highlight of the layout.
The photos are some of the many that I have from the proposal day. My daughters fiancé had a full day, well thought out scavenger hunt planned that ended with the proposal. He even thought to have a photographer and someone there to video tape the proposal. You don’t know how grateful I was for this as scrapbooking mom!
I’d still like to add some journaling but I have several photos left to scrapbook from the proposal day and don’t want to repeat the journaling so I think I’ll scrapbook all the photos and then decide where the journaling fits best.
Have a creative day!
