Looking to spark your creativity? Create a mini album. Sometimes working on a smaller scale or canvas and just switching it up can be so fun and amazing for your creativity.
I love mini albums because they often don’t require a lot of thought and embellishing. Especially if it’s something simple and you’ve created something similar before! There’s nothing wrong with recreating a past project. It’s amazing how different it can end up looking by simply changing out the supplies.
Speaking of supplies try limiting them for this project. Having access to your whole collection of supplies can be part of the problem. Too many products to choose from can cause a creative block. Choosing a smaller selection of items for a specific project, forces you to get more creative with how to use them.

When I find a project I like, I often recreate it with different supplies. Back in May I created this adorable little mini album to record a Stampin’ Up! event some team members and I attended. You can find it here. I decided to recreate it using some new holiday catalogue products. I love how it turned out!
Limiting my supplies to one sheet of each of the patterns in the Night Before Christmas dsp pack and the rest of the products in that suite really helped stretch my creativity!
If you’d like to create this album, whether in person or to go, you can find more information on the class here. This album is so simple to make and is ADORABLE! The photos just don’t do it justice. I did share a bit of a peek at it in this video if you’d like to check it out.
Have a creative day!
