Welcome to part 2 of the crafting retreat recap. I love to leave little treats for all my retreat attendees throughout the weekend. This time I decided to pick a theme – Back to School – and plan the projects around that theme.
This is what everyone’s station looked like when they arrived. Their names were done up to look like a chalkboard sitting on an easel. I love how they turned out.
They each also received some product, a composition notebook and a few little things tucked into their lined bag that would help them with Back to School Bingo.
I’m super pleased with the way the bingo turned out. I tried to tie each square back to school in some way or another. It was fun.
On Thursday they received these cute little red pails filled with candy and a little apple tag. I’m not sure that it’s really school themed apart from maybe the apple but it was cute.
On Friday they received this adorable little book worm baggie with a bookmark from Craftedvan. If you aren’t familiar with them, you should check them out. They make the most adorable magnetic bookmarks.
Then on Saturday they received a mini curvy keepsake box done up like an apple.
One of the Bingo squares challenged attendees to decorate their composition notebooks. We had a few people finish that square. I love how different they all turned out.
It was a fun, productive weekend. You’ll be seeing lots of what I created over the next few weeks. Including a flip through of my 2017 album! Woohoo.
Have a creative day!
