Good morning! I thought I’d pop in to share a fun card, using the Bravo stamp set, that I made for my team members who promoted last month. The Bravo stamp set was one of the very first sets I purchased from the new catalogue – I LOVE the large words and you can always use a set to say Bravo. It’s not just for graduations, weddings and babies – it’s nice to just send a Way to Go card to someone who accomplished something big or small! I will use this set often for lunch box notes. Everyone needs a little recognition once in a while even if it’s just for the little things.
Anyways, back to the card. To create the yellow/orange ombre look I used our Daffodil and Pumpkin pie Blendabilities markers. I started at the top with the lightest yellow, then went to the middle color and worked my way up to the darkest orange. It’s such a simple technique! Notice the rhinestones? Those are our regular rhinestones but I colored them with the darkest daffodil Blendabilities marker to make them yellow! Did you know that you can use your alcohol markers to color embellishments? They are amazing and it dries so quickly because they are alcohol based!
In case you’d like to recreate this card, here are the measurements (supplies listed below):
- Daffodil cardstock 5-1/2″x8-1/2″
- Early Espresso 2-1/2″x5-1/8″ and 2-1/8″x4-3/8″
- Very Vanilla 2-3/8″x5″ and 2″x4-1/4″
Have a creative day!
Sherry
