This weeks memory keeping Monday post is this Cheerful Daisies Traveler’s Notebook layout. This also counts as another sample for last weeks simple stencilling ideas.
If you missed the first video in my 4-part series on using stencils (or masks), check out this blog post.
I used the bigger plaid stencil and some copper clay ink to create a subtle background on the right hand page. The stacked words are cut from a retired 4″ x 6″ Memories & More card. For the let page I wanted a bit of contrast so I used the backside of one of the Fresh as a Daisy patterned papers. I love that it looks like it was painted with a brush.
To create a heavier title block I layered a couple of the countryside corners dies and then added that beautiful die from the Cheerful Daisies. I love how it all turned out!
I’ve gotten so much use out of the Cheerful Daisies bundle! It’s been so fun to play with.
There’s still time to register for this months Cheerful Daisies class to go. Find all the details here.
Until next time,
