Right from the get go I loved the Celebrations Basics Kit (p. 30 of the Celebrate the Everyday Catalogue). My initial thought was to make a celebrate banner so that I could pull it out for everyone’s birthday. After a little thought I decided to make a ‘create’ banner for my studio. All the letters were there – it was perfect. I added the Bermuda Bay Celebrations Add on Kit and a couple stamped images and voila – the perfect accent! I LOVE how it turned out!
I’ve got a couple close up photos for you to have a look at. I apologize for the quality – they aren’t the best but it gives you an idea.
In the Add On Kit you get some tissue paper pieces that you can cut up and make into tassels. I spritzed one of them in crushed curry and the other in bermuda bay.
I used the little circular tags that come in the banner kit in between the banners and added some punched/stamped pansies.
In the add on kit, you get some fabulous patterned 6×6 sheets of dsp. So I used my starburst framelits and cut out a starburst for behind the letters. That’s also where the silver paper came from. Love it!
