Today I’m sharing three slightly different versions of this celebrate card. These cards were the result of some left over kits that I had from a previous class. I decided they’d make a great masculine card and needed to replenish my stock.
The are all very similar cards with just a few minor modifications. Notice that there is no stamping on any of these cards! It’s not often I don’t stamp on a card.
Measurements (for the 1st version):
- Thick Basic White: 8 ½” x 5 ½”
- Wild Wheat: 3” x 3” and 1-1/4” x 3-1/2”
- Vellum: 2-1/2” x 2-1/2”
- Mossy Meadow: 1-1/4” x 4”
- Pebbled Path: 1-1/4” x 3-1/2” and 1” x 2”
- Silver Foil: 1” x 1”
- Linen Thread: 6”
- Metallic Dots: x3
For the second version I had a piece of embossed wild wheat card stock and added that along with a white layer. It simply add a bit more colour and a few more layers to the card.
Measurements:
- Same as above
- Basic White: 3″ x 5″
- Wild Wheat: 3-1/4″ x 5-1/4″ embossed with the Twisted Rope 3D folder
And for the third version, instead of the wheat matte all the way around, I simply cut it the same length but slightly taller so you see a bit of it peaking out from above and below the white layer.
Measurements
- Same as for the 1st sample
- Basic White: 3″ x 5″
- Wild Wheat: 3-1/4″ x 5″ embossed with the Twisted Rope 3D embossing folder
Sometimes it’s fun to just make slight alterations to the same card design.
Until next time,
