Good morning! Thanks for stopping in today. My scrapbook clubs meet today – such a fun day for me. I love to see what everyones layout looks like. As I write this, my sample layout isn’t done but I know what I’m going to do so it shouldn’t take long.
I spent all day yesterday (Monday) working on my custom scrapbooks. They are coming along, I think only 3 or 4 layouts left to do and they are done! I’m really happy with what has been finished so far and can’t wait for Luisa to see them.
Anyway on to todays project. As mentioned in yesterdays post, I have several different flowers created with the Blossom Petals punch that I am going to share with you this week. Keep in mind that I didn’t come up with these ideas, I’ve seen them on other blogs or on the SU! website.
Todays flower is another simpler version of this one. The largest petal was stamped 5 times and then punched out. Instead of using all the smaller petals, I used the 5-petal punch as the smaller petals, it really saves time! It doesn’t look quite as full but still gives you a nice finished flower. The centre is the circular image from the Build a Blossom stamp set punched with the 1″ circle punch and centred with a glimmer brad.
Sorry I don’t have a project to share using it but the focus is really on the flower. Maybe it will work on my layout that I do tonight!
I’ll be back tomorrow with another!
