Branching Out Card Tutorial

Today I’m sharing a simple card tutorial using Stampin’ Up!’s Branching Out stamp set. This is a new set, which is part of a bundle, from the 2025 September to December mini catalogue. You can find it on page 50. The dies are so fabulous but we aren’t using the dies on todays project.

I’ve got the measurements and the instructions listed here in the blog post and you can find the supplies listed at the bottom of the post. Have fun with this idea! And remember, if you don’t have the supplies, you can always make it your own by using what you have in your stash.

Measurements:

• Thick Basic White: 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
• Basic White: 3-3/4″ x 5″ embossed with the Damask Designs embossing folder; 2-1/8″ x 5-1/2″
• Early Espresso: 3/8″ x 4-1/4″
• Early Espresso Linen Thread: 8″
• Streaked Dots: x2

Instructions

1. Emboss the 3-3/4″ x 5″ layer of white card stock using the Damask Designs embossing folder (or another folder). Add to the front of the card base.
2. Stamp the large branch using early espresso ink onto the strip of white card stock.
3. Add in the pine branches using shaded spruce ink.
4. Stamp the pinecones using pecan pie ink.
5. Splatter using the dark brown Stampin’ Blend.
6. Add this layer to the card front using dimensionals.
7. Stamp desired greeting onto the scrap of early espresso card stock using VersaMark ink. Sprinkle with white embossing powder and heat set.
8. Add to the card front using dimensionals on both ends so that it sits flush with the popped up piece already on there.
9. Tie a bow from the early espresso twine and add it using a mini glue dot.
10. Finish it off with a couple of the streaked dots.
