Measurements:
· Very Vanilla Thick Card Stock: 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”
· Petal Pink Card Stock: 3 7/8” x 5 1/8” and 2 ½” x 2 ½” (for butterfly)
· Calypso Coral Card Stock: 2” x 3 3/8” and 2 ½” x 2 ½” (for butterfly)
· Vanilla Card Stock: 2” x 3 ½”
· Calypso Coral Ribbon: 16”
Instructions:
1. Run the large piece of petal pink cardstock through the big shot using the tufted embossing folder. Add that to the center of the card front.
2. Run the vanilla cardstock through the big shot using the 1 13/16” x 3 3/16” stitched rectangle framelit.
3. Stamp the greeting using basic gray ink to the right side of the rectangle and attach that to the calypso coral rectangle.
4. Add adhesive across the centre of the card front and add the ribbon. Begin on the left and work your way back and forth. Trim as needed.
5. Add dimensionals to the back of the greeting and add that to the card front.
6. Add a 2 ¼” x 2 ¼” piece of multipurpose adhesive sheet to the back of the calypso coral square and run it through the big shot using the more detailed, finer butterfly die from the Butterfly Beauty thinlits. Note: Position the cardstock under the butterfly you would like to use for this project. The sample uses the upper right butterfly.
7. Repeat this process with the other butterfly framelit and the petal pink cardstock. No adhesive sheet is needed for this one.
8. Trim the excess from each of the butterfly shapes.
9. Add wink of stella to the calypso butterfly. Once dry, peel back the backing and add that butterfly to the top of the petal pink butterfly.
10.Use your bone folder to curl up the wings of the butterfly. Add adhesive to the body and add it to the card front.
11.Add three pearls to the card front.
12.Stamp the inside greeting using the basic gray ink and you’re done!
Have a creative day!
