Hello Monday and the first official day of summer holidays for my kids. Over the next two months you will likely see fewer posts. I’m hoping to be able to post 3 or 4 times a week but no promises.
This card was one of the projects we did at my hostess appreciation events last week. I love the way it tuned out!
My starting point was the Stamping 411 challenge #147. The Mostly Vintage stencil (118877) was used to add a pattern to the white cardstock. The dsp is the Presto Patterns dsp (117175) from the Summer Mini. The is the most fabulous paper. You can customize the color based on your project by sponging or brayering your desired ink color to make the pattern pop. We used Rich Razzleberry and a sponge. The accent is a couple butterflies cut from the Beautiful Wings embosslit, the larger cut from vellum cardstock and the smaller from a scrap of razzleberry. Love it!
Thanks for stopping by! Only a couple more days until the new catalogue is officially released – so excited! If you are in the Edmonton, Sherwood Park or surrounding areas – mark your calendars for July 5th and 6th. Those are the dates of my Open House/Garage Sale, more details to come.
