Awash with Flowers Sympathy Card

Sympathy cards are never a fun card to make and a little more of a challenge. With the Awash with Flowers set, it is easy to come up with a sympathy card. This was one of the cards we did at stamp club this month. The colors are Mellow Moss and Apricot Appeal – both of them retiring. It’s been a while since I’ve used Mellow Moss, I’d forgotten what a nice color it is. This color renovation is forcing me to use some colors that I have put aside for far too long – I’m quite enjoying it.

This is the same card layout, all I did was switch the color to Pink Pirouette. This will be returning in July with the release of the 2010-2011 Idea Book & Catalogue. I don’t usually keep my retired product but last year I kept Pink Pirouette and Baja Breeze and I’m so happy to see those two colors coming back!!
