I’ve got another Paper Pumpkin Hope Box alternate to share with you today. I’ve been having so much fun with this kit.
If you missed the previous layout I created with this kit, you can find it here.
I had this vision in my head of a wreath done with the butterflies. The stamps made for the perfect base for the wreath and then I stamped and cut out some of both sizes and filled it in with some of the die cut butterflies in the kit.
You can see in the first photo that the fussy cut butterfly is two toned. I did a technique called rock & roll. You ink up the image with the lighter colour and then roll it in a darker colour. I like to then take a sponge dauber and soften the transition between the two so there isn’t a harsh difference between the two colours. The two colours I used are Bumblebee and Polished Pink.
The beautiful wide ribbon was the perfect addition to the top of the wreath. I love how bright and beautiful this layout turned out to be.
