Back in March I shared this mini accordion album I created using the How Sweet It Is DSP (retiring at the end of May). But it didn’t have any photos in it when I shared it. You can see the original post here. I thought I’d share an update now that the album is filled with photos and journaling.
Let’s start with how I’m storing it. I decided it would look really cute standing up in a little bakers box.
I love that the box has a window so you can see what’s inside. The outside of the box is really simple. I just added some dsp, ribbon and a little tag.
Then you open the box to reveal the mini album. Here’s a look at the pages.
The first page has a little pocket in it with a journaling tag and a photo with some journaling on the back, sharing my first ‘stalker’ experience:) Shout out to Christine Dionne if she’s reading.
The next page has a tip in that opens up to reveal more photos and some journaling.
And then here’s a photo of the front bit all the way open.
And then you flip it over.
And then all the way open on the back.
It’s such a quick and easy album to make, created from one 12″ x 12″ piece of card stock! Just cut it in three 3″ x 12″ pieces, score each piece at 3″, 6″ and 9″ and assemble the pieces together. Voila! The base of the album is done! If you’d like me to film a video showing you how it comes together just comment below and I can do that.
Have a creative day!

Hi Sherry,
Cute! I am interested in seeing how the base of this album is put together.

Hi Amanda,
The album is created from a 12×12 piece of card stock. Score it on one side at 4″ and 8″ then rotate it 1/4 turn and cut it into three 4″x12″ strips. Accordion fold the strips and attach the three pieces together. They are a really quick & easy mini album!
