Today I’m sharing a Christmas one sheet wonder with you. My one sheet wonders are a little different than the normal one sheet wonders. I don’t always use all the pieces to decorate the outside of the card, I sometimes incorporate some of the scraps for the inside. I’ve been loving the challenge of using up entire sheets of patterned paper. It feels so good to know that there are no scraps and that one more sheet has been used up from my stash. It’s the little things that make me happy:)
With that in mind let’s take a peek at the cards for today. NOTE: there is a video linked below where you can see how I cut my patterned paper and put the cards together.
Merry Christmas Tree Card
Measurements:
- Thick Basic White: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
- Patterned Paper: 4″ x 5-1/4″ and 3/4″ x 4-1/4″ and a die cut tree from a different patterned piece from the same pack
- Vellum: 3-3/4″ x 5″
- Basic White: 3/4″ x 4″ for greeting
- Linen Thread: 6″
- Rustic Metallic Dots: x3
Merry Christmas Card
Measurements:
- Pretty Peacock: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″ and a partial stylish shapes circle (same size as the white one)
- Basic White: 4″ x 5-1/4″ (inside) and stylish shapes circle to fit your greeting
- Patterned Paper: 4″ x 5-1/4″ ; 3/4″ x 4″ and 1-1/2″ x 3-3/4″ and a couple fussy cut trees
- Vellum: 3-3/4″ x 5″
- Ribbon: 12″
- Linen Thread: 6″
- Rustic Metallic Dots: x3
Warm Wishes Window Cards
This is a great card design if you’d like to showcase both sides of the patterned paper. I made 2 of these cards.
Measurements:
- Garden Green: 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ (x2)
- Basic White: 3-3/4″ x 5″ (x2)
- Patterned Paper: 5-1/4″ x 8″ scored at 4″ and fussy cut trees
- Linen Thread
- Rustic Metallic Dots (x2/card)

Merry Christmas Slimline Card
Measurements:
- Balmy Blue: 7″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 3-1/2″
- Patterned Paper: 3/4″ x 8-1/4″; the two rectangles left from the Warm Wishes cards and some fussy cut trees
- Basic White: 3-1/4″ x 8-1/4″ (inside); 2 rectangles cut from the Nested Essentials dies (2nd largest) and scrap for greeting
- Garden Green: 1/2″ x 8-1/4″
- Linen Thread: 6″
- Rustic Metallic Dots: x2
