Memory keeping is my passion – I love to document life in many different ways. As my kids have gotten older, I’ve realized that I’ve forgotten more than I would like to admit. I didn’t think that I would forget that funny thing they said or the way I felt when they cuddled when they were sick or that we went here and there. Unfortunately I have forgotten some of it however I’m grateful to have albums full of many memories to relive. I want to help you creatively preserve your memories, conversations and feelings so that you never forget and have those memories to pass along.
Today’s the day! It’s Let’s Get Sketchy release day. I’m REALLY excited about this class. This class is the result of some brainstorming and is the first of a series of classes I will be offering. I was thinking about things that I was passionate about and how I could share that with others while solving a problem. As a paper crafter, I struggle with a few things and I’m sure many of you do too…
- The amount of supplies that I have – let’s face it most of us probably have enough patterned paper to last the rest of our lives. There are always pretty new papers that are being released that we want to add to our collections. Don’t get me wrong – I’m not saying don’t buy any more but what if I can help you use some of what you already have!
- Inspiration – inspiration can be found in so many places, especially with the popularity of Pinterest. Sometimes we come across a layout that we love but get hung up on the fact that we don’t have the supplies that were used in the layout. I want to help you look differently at those layouts – specifically focusing on sketches for this class.
This class is very different from my previous classes – it’s not a product based class. I don’t focus on a specific suite or product line. I’m using things that I have on hand and I encourage you to do the same. There is something so gratifying in using up a sheet of paper that you’ve had in your stash for years! I want you to feel that gratification.
You’ll receive a link to a video where I analyze a sketch and then I put that sketch to use in a quick process video.
You’ll receive a minimum of 10 layout ideas where I’ve started with a sketch and created a layout. I say a minimum of 10 because I still have more ideas I’d like to incorporate – stay tuned…
You’ll be given different ways to use and interpret a sketch. Even ideas on how and when to create your own sketch!
You’ll be provided with a list of places to find sketches.
You’ll receive a supply list and measurements for each of the layouts so that you can use your supplies to recreate the layout shown or just use it for inspiration. Remember, the point of this class is to use what you have on hand!
What do you think? Are you ready to get sketchy?! I know you won’t be disappointed.
Purchase your Let’s Get Sketchy class today for only $45 Cdn and start using some of those supplies that you have waiting to be used!
You’ll receive an email from me with the pdf within 24 hours of receipt of payment.
Let’s Get Sketchy – In Person Event
Saturday May 4th at 1pm
I know my local customers will want to create some of these layouts in person, so I’ve scheduled an in person event where you can come and create 3 of the layouts that are featured in the Let’s Get Sketchy class (indicated by * in the tutorial).
You have two choices – supplies are limited:
- Purchase the Let’s Get Sketchy class for $45 and add on the in person event for $15 which would include all of the supplies to create the 3 layouts indicated in the pdf and 1/2 pkg of the Botanical Butterfly DSP.
- Attend the in person class without the Let’s Get Sketchy class for $30. This will include all the supplies to create 3 layouts and 1/2 pkg of the Botanical Butterfly DSP. No access to the rest of the Let’s Get Sketchy class with this option.
