Falling for Vintage: A Fall Journal & Mini Album
There’s just something about fall that makes me want to slow down, get cozy and create something filled with vintage charm.
For this class, we’re taking a thrifted file folder and turning it into a beautiful fall journal/mini album filled with layers, pockets, vintage book pages, coffee-stained papers and gorgeous fall patterns from Stampin’ Up!’s Sunflower Fields Designer Series Paper.
And the best part? You don’t need to start with a fancy album base. We’ll transform something you might normally overlook into a one-of-a-kind keepsake!

Inside your kit, you’ll receive:
- 1/2 package of Sunflower Fields Designer Series Paper
- 1/2 package of Radiant Foils Specialty Paper
- 1/2 package of Harvest Hues Ephemera Pack
- 2 yards of the Mossy Meadow & Very Vanilla Gingham Ribbon
- A thrifted file folder
- Coffee-stained papers and vintage book pages
- The ribbons needed to create a fun, fall-themed tassel
- And everything else you need to complete the project – including some beautiful foiled leaves!
But this class is about more than just the supplies!
You’ll also receive a detailed tutorial with photos, measurements, a complete supply list, plus a series of videos that walk you through the entire process. From cutting your papers and creating the album structure, to assembling and decorating your finished journal. You can follow along with me step-by-step, or use the tutorial as inspiration to create your own version using papers and treasures from your stash.

In Person – Sunday October 4th at 1pm
Join me in person for a fun, crafty time creating your fall journal while enjoying the company of other paper crafters. In class I’ll walk you through cutting & scoring your papers, assembling the album and making your tassel. And you’ll get to give the hot foil machine a try! Note: class will be held downstairs.
Class fee of $65 is due upon registration.
To Go – Kits can ship anywhere in Canada!
Can’t make it in person? No problem! Your complete kit can be shipped anywhere in Canada so you can create along with me from home, using the tutorial. Class fee is $65 + $10 shipping. Local pick up available.

Live outside of Canada? The tutorial-only option is available so you can still create your own version of the project wherever you are.
This is the kind of project that is perfect for a cozy afternoon of crafting—and because we’re using a mix of new Stampin’ Up! products, thrifted finds, vintage papers and coffee-stained pages, every album has the potential to have its own personality.
