Adventure Awaits Scrapbook Layout

Today I’m sharing an Adventure Awaits scrapbook layout with you. The Adventure Awaits card kit from Stampin’ Up! makes the CUTEST retro cards that I knew I had to create a layout using the contents.

The kit contains enough supplies to make 9 cards, 3 each of the 3 cards shown above. I combined the contents with some products from my stash – some old and some new – to create this fun road trip layout.

The background paper was one from my stash, I don’t remember what it was called but had tools on the back. I distressed around the edges, added a bit of stamping and some splatter. Then layered a couple of the card bases and a piece of one of the printed envelopes from the kit.

The mountains were die cut using the Outdoor Adventure dies. To give them a bit more distinction I added some white ink to the tops to make it look like snow.
