Impressions Abloom You’re Amazing Card

Today I’m sharing this Impressions Abloom you’re amazing card I created using some of the scraps left on my desk. Stampin’ Up!’s ® Impressions Abloom bundle is my current favourite product. I’ve already shared LOTS of projects I’ve created using this fabulous collection and still have more to come.

When I receive new product I usually create several projects in one or two crafty sessions. I’ll design anything that I need for classes, some additional samples to use on my blog, Instagram and Youtube, and a layout or two. I find it easier to dig into a collection and just keep creating with it rather than bouncing from collection to collection.

Today’s card was one of the last cards I created and was inspired by some of the leftover pieces I had sitting on my desk.

The Details

I really wanted a larger greeting for the centre so I pulled out the ‘You’re Amazing’ from the Scenic Adventure stamp set. It was stamped in the centre before any of the die cut pieces were added around the edges.

To give the die cut pieces a bit of added dimension, I used a sponge dauber to add some ink to the base of the flowers and leaves. it’s amazing how much such a simple thing can add. All of the strawberry slush flowers are popped up with dimensionals and the leaves are flat.

To finish off the card I used a black Stampin’ Write marker to add little trios of dots.

Measurements:

• Thick Basic White: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
• Basic Black: 5-1/8″ x 3-7/8″
• Basic White: 5″ x 3-3/4″
• Strawberry Slush: 3″ x 4″ for die cutting flowers
• Garden Green: 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ for die cutting leaves
• Daffodil Delight: 2″ x 3″ for die cutting flowers
