In today’s post I’m sharing a simple way you can use your patterned paper for pretty packaging. Paper crafting supplies can easily make a simple gift – like a pencil – feel like so much more.
I love having little gifts on hand, ready in case they are needed last minute. Of course these simple little gifts need special packaging or at the very least a tag. I’ve had these pencils sitting around for quite some time. It was time to do something with them!
You can’t get much simpler than what I did to create this!
- Card stock: 2″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2″ – I chose colours to match each of the pencils.
- Patterned Paper: 1-7/8″ x 5-3/8″ and fussy/die cut critters from the Zoo Crew DSP
- Basic White: 2-1/4″ circle
- Scrap of Card Stock: to cut heart
- Black Twine: long enough to wrap around and tie a bow. This is what’s holding everything together.
Wouldn’t these make adorable party favour gifts? You could customize them based on the party theme or colours. So many possibilities!
Until next time,
