I’ve got some more Hello Harvest card inspiration to share with you again today. I came across this fun idea where you stamp an 8-1/2″ x 11″ piece of card stock and cut it down to create 4 cards. It’s kind of like a version of a one sheet wonder but with more white space and all the pieces end up being the same, or close to.
Here’s how it’s done…
I started by using a pencil and ruler and adding a line down the centre of a piece of vanilla card stock, in both directions.
I then added some yellow with a blending brush along the lines and then followed that with some stamping. So it ended up looking like this.
The next step was to cut the piece down to 4 pieces measuring 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″. I decided I wanted there to be a mat so I then trimmed those pieces down to 3-3/4″ x 5″ but I trimmed the outside where there was more white space so it didn’t affect the pattern.
Then in was a matter of putting the cards together. How fun is this idea?! I love the addition of the leaf labels. I’ve started my second package of these leaf labels – I love them so much!
Did you know that I’m giving away a free package of leaf labels & amber gems to anyone who participates in the I want it all option of my Fond of Autumn class to go?! You can find all the details here.
During my BOGO event on Friday, I offered a free class and shared a version of this idea using snowflakes.
Until next time,
