This weeks Sale-a-Bration product of focus is the Daffodil Afternoon DSP. I’ve got two projects to share with you that will hopefully inspire you to pull out some beautiful DSP.
The first project uses the DSP as a card base which is not something I do often but works really well with these border type patterned papers.
I’m calling it a peekaboo card because there’s a circle punched in the card front to reveal the greeting on the inside of the card. This is such a fun and simple way to create a card with a bit more interest.
Measurements:
- Daffodil Afternoon DSP: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
- Very Vanilla: 4″ x 5-1/4″ (inside) and a 2″ circle
- Mossy Meadow: scrap
- Brushed Brass Butterflies: x3
The second card I’m sharing is a gate fold card. This fun fold is a simple one I turn to often.
Measurements:
- Very Vanilla: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 2-1/8″ from both sides of the long end; 3″ x 4″ cut with the largest label shape from the Tasteful Labels dies and a scrap
- Daffodil Afternoon DSP: 2″ x 5-3/8″ (x2) and 2-1/4″ x 6″ for the envelope flap (if desired)
- Mossy Meadow: 1″ x 11″
- Vellum: 2-3/4″ x 3-3/4″
- Vanilla Bakers Twine: 6″
- Iridescent Rhinestones: x3
Here’s a look at the card without the belly band.

There’s still time to register for the Daffodil Daydream class to go! Find all the details here.
I hope you enjoyed this Daffodil Afternoon DSP inspiration. Have a creative weekend!
