Sharing this saying goodbye scrapbook layout for this weeks memory keeping Monday post. It’s a great layout for three 3″ x 4″ photos.
I don’t own the entire Sweet Symmetry suite just the dsp so I looked through my stamps and dies to find something that was similar in style to go along with the pretty paper. The Pierced Blooms dies were a perfect compliment. I also used some retired navy twine and finished up some navy enamel dots that retired long ago. I love the feeling of using something up!
The photos on this layout are of our empty house just before we handed over the keys. The house served us well for 8 years but it was time to move on.
It’s all about the details…
- The word ‘Goodbye’ is popped up to make it look like they are thickers. I added night of navy cardstock to our foam adhesive sheets and then cut out the letters. I love how this looks!
- The scallop edge was cut from the border die in the scalloped contour dies. I love how it looks like a window valence.
- The banner strip was the perfect place to add journaling. I’m glad I chose a lighter, more subtle patterned paper so that I didn’t need to add a vanilla piece over top.
I hope todays layout inspires you to pull out some photos and get scrappy!
