When I get a stamp set, or dies, I love to try to thinking outside the box and finding different ways to use it. Doing this makes the product much more versatile.
Thinking outside the box gave me the idea to use the negative space from the dies rather than the traditionally used die cut piece. To create todays project, I’ve combined the Gorgeous Posies stamp set with the Best Plaid Builder dies to create a bright, cheerful birthday card. Not only did I try something new but I’m using Magenta Madness which is WAY outside my comfort zone. I’m not a lover of bright pinks but I do love how fun and cheerful this card turned out.
If you’d like to see how this card came together be sure to check out the Facebook live replay below.
I’ll be sharing additional tips, tricks and ideas on how to use the Best Plaid Builder dies in my upcoming Let’s Get Crafty virtual card class on December 9th. I’d love to have you join me.
