This ‘The Best Mom’ scrapbook layout was created right after I created this one using the February 2020 Paper Pumpkin kit. I thought since everything was out, I would just create another layout.
Can you tell what is from the paper pumpkin kit? It’s really not very obvious. Mostly just scraps of the envelopes and card bases that I cut up and the sequins. I used the scraps as layering behind the photo. I’m getting better and more confident layering my photos this way. I love the look of all these layers!
The little foil labels that are tucked in here and there are from the Everything is Rosy product medley, which is on the clearance rack for a SWEET deal! I’m still using up bits and pieces from this medley of products and still loving it.
The embellishment clusters are made up of the leaf wood elements from the holiday catalogue (now retired). I coloured a couple of the leaves with my old olive Stampin’ Write Marker to add a bit more of the olive to the page.
I love how simple this page is. You really don’t need much to create great layouts. Here’s a little challenge for you – pull out some scraps and use them to mat your photo on your next layout. Add lots of layers in a variety of sizes. Don’t over think it just do it:)
